Finally! Neither my mom nor I had any green beans all summer. Both of our plants were started from the same set of seeds from her crop last year. Within a week of one another we both had flowers and then in the past few days we both had actual beans. I thought I just had small, one inch beans but looking around the plants this morning I noticed that there were a ton of fully grown ones. Too bad its raining so hard!
I also have a late summer rush of tomatoes, eggplants, and peppers. Summer's not quite over yet!
