I got some camera therapy on my way to the grocery store. There are a few places that you can get up close and personal to the gowanus canal and I stopped by one of them to take some shots. I shot about half manual and half auto settings on the camera and am already beginning to feel comfortable using the light meter.
Ironically my favorite shot of the day was not of the canal but of this ice filled paper coffee cup on the sidewalk. Yes, I did get down on my butt in gowanus and take the shot. I am proud to say that I think this one was taken in manual.
